She believes that inspirations which come from within should be expressed and celebrated. Her paintings are the reflections of her soul: full of joy and gratitude. Thus; the colors are sparkling and vibrant, and the strokes are bold. There is positive energy and movements in every painting.

She also believes that art heals, unites people and transcends differences. Through art she wishes to spread joy. Some of her paintings with the luminous complementary colors vibrate and sizzle, and make the viewers can not help but also feel uplifted.

Most of her latest acrylic abstracts were painted in sets of two to four paintings. While they are in harmony if together, each painting can also stand on its own. Her paintings touch every one differently. If placed in different orientations, one painting can be interpreted in many different ways. Her paintings make the viewers pause to ponder.

Riechmann was educated both locally and abroad. She has a degree in biology, a stint of MBA, a dash of business and computer science, and of course — Art. Having worked in local and international companies in various countries spread in three continents has enriched her with exposure to variety of cultures and customs. Having visited so many galleries and museum in more than thirty countries has sharpened her eyes and deepened her appreciation of the wonderful different ways to express art. She is a member or board member of several art organizations. She has participated in many art exhibitions and currently has ongoing shows in the East Bay.

She is currently living in California; in gratitude and awe – in joy and peace.
